Millcraft designs, builds and installs every home library ourselves. Everything is made in our own shop in Suffield, Connecticut, by a family-owned company that builds custom cabinetry and millwork for homes and businesses across the region.

We build wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling bookcases for a dedicated library, a den, a living room or a hallway. We plan the shelf spans and depths for the weight and size of what you own, and work around windows, doors, fireplaces and awkward corners so the finished wall looks like it was always part of the house.
The details are what make a library feel finished. A rolling ladder makes the top shelves easy to reach. Glass-front doors protect books and collections you want to keep on display. Built-in lighting brings the wall to life in the evening and shows off what you love.
Closed cabinets below the shelves keep games, papers, media and clutter out of sight while open shelves hold the books. We can add a built-in desk, a window seat or a reading bench where the room allows, so the library works as a place to work or to relax.
