"How much does this cost?" is the first question almost every homeowner asks, and it's a fair one — custom closets can range from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, depending on size, materials and what you're asking the space to do. Here's what actually drives that number.
Size and layout
A single reach-in closet with a new shelf-and-rod system costs far less than a walk-in with a full wall of built-ins. The amount of material and the complexity of the layout — corners, islands, varied hanging heights — both add to the price.
Materials and finish
Melamine finishes (see our inspiration page) are the most common choice: durable, easy to clean, and available in a range of colors and wood-grain looks. Custom finishes, solid wood, and higher-end hardware push the price up from there.
Accessories and extras
Drawers, pull-down rods, jewelry organizers, built-in lighting and other accessories are usually priced separately from the base system, so it's easy to start simple and add what you need.
Why we don't post a price list
Every space is different, and a price that looks right for a neighbor's closet can be very wrong for yours. That's why every project starts with a free in-home design consultation: we measure your space, talk through what you need it to do, and give you a firm, written quote — no guessing, no obligation.
